I was in one of the weight loss FB groups as I usually like to go in them for quick ideas on what to write about. (They are absolute gold mines and comical at times.)
This one woman said, “”I Fell Off The Wagon Please Help Motivate Me!!”
Then you got all of these people chiming in their $.02 with their motivational quotes they have seen online. (which they should probably be following themselves.)
What I don’t understand for the life of me is how some random internet stranger who probably doesn’t care is possibly gonna do or say to that person that will motivate them more than the person actually wanting to do it for themselves.
If you can’t think of the many reasons to motivate yourself to get fit, healthy, and feel good about yourself then I don’t think some random internet stranger (or anyone for that matter) is going to be able to help you out.
It has to be something you want to do for yourself and has to come from within.
Not Karen in Ohio telling you, “I believe in you, you got this!!!”
Lol please stop with this phoney, useless garbage.
I do get this sometimes with potential clients as well.
“Blaine, I need you to motivate me!”
To which I respond, “I can help you, support you, make you accountable, sure but if you can’t find a reason to do it for YOU then I can’t help you with that sorry.”
Seriously I can’t.
Even if I tried it would suck the life out of me. (yes I have tried in my earlier years and was PAINFUL and never worked.)
If you are finding a problem with motivation sit down with a piece of paper and write out all of your “reasons why” you want to lose weight, get fit, and get healthy.
Dig deep and figure it out.
I’m sure you will find out many motivating reasons on why YOU should.
Then I can help you.
